Can You Wait Patiently? | Psalm 40
Why is waiting for anything so hard? We struggle to wait in line at the grocery store, in traffic, in the fast food lane – just about everywhere! This morning, my hope is that we are encouraged by the Word of God to wait patiently and expectantly on the Lord…NOT on circumstances clearing up, NOT on trials disappearing, but intentionally and actively waiting on the Lord in the midst of these things. This morning, we will look at the benefits of waiting patiently, and we will also look at WHY it is so difficult to wait on the Lord consistently. Preached: March 29 2020
