What Do You Long For? | Psalm 42

What do you long for? The answer to that question may vary depending upon stage of life or circumstances in life. The Bible is clear on WHAT, or better yet, WHO we should long for! In Psalm 42 in the old testament, the Psalmist was going through an emotionally difficult time that caused him to realize two things: (1) He was needy – NOT just in his current set of difficult circumstances, but all of the time, and (2) The deep need of his soul was God Himself. The Psalmist realized that God was not his BEST option, but that He was his ONLY option. Preached: March 5, 2020
